Our main services are supported by the coordinated application of a number of our key survey and testing skills.
Floor Survey
Relative elevation readings collected on-site used to perform topographic mapping of a floor system so as to provide data on the relative state of level of a floor system and its components.
Ground Penetrating Radar Survey (GPR)
Ground Penetrating Radar Surveys serve to identify subsurface anomalies related to sinkhole, subsidence, utility locating, identification of buried objects, including debris, tanks, vaults, and graves.
Electrical Resistivity Imaging Survey (ERI)
Electrical Resistivity Imaging Surveys serve to identify subsurface anomalies related to sinkhole, subsidence, dam or pipe leakage, ore bodies, depth to bedrock, or stratigraphic mapping.
Seismic Testing
MASW seismic testing serves to determine Vs (shear wave velocity) for depth to bedrock, foundation design, sinkhole or subsidence investigations, or NEHRP seismic site classification.
Standard Penetration Testing (SPT / Drilling)
Standard Penetration Testing serves to determine soil type and relative densities, collect samples for testing and documentation, assist in foundation design, sinkhole determination, or geological exploration.
Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT)
Cone Penetrometer Testing serves to determine soil behavior type, engineering and hydrogeological parameters, assist in foundation design, sinkhole determination, or geological exploration.
Direct Push Services
Direct Push serves to collect direct push samples for geotechnical and environmental testing of shallow soils.
Substructure Survey
Substructure Surveys serve to collect data on the condition of the substructure system and components by accessing the crawl space to view the underside of an elevated floor.
Roof Structure Survey
Roof Structure Surveys serve to collect data on the condition of the roof system and components by accessing the attic space to view the roof structure components and the underside of the roof deck.
Thermographic (Infrared) Survey
Thermographic or Infrared Surveys serve to identify damage and/or conditions in areas not visible to the naked eye so as to supplement visual and destructive testing observations during an on-site assessment.
Roof Membrane and Tile Pull Testing
Pull Tests performed to identify problem areas in roof systems and determine if roof systems meet local building code requirements.
Fenestration Water Testing
Water Tests performed to identify problem areas or point of water penetration in a structure’s building envelope or fenestration components and cladding.
Full Scale In Situ Load Testing
Full scale testing of in-place structural systems and/or components performed so as to verify sufficiency and/or remaining capacity.
Noise Testing
On-site testing of sound transmission through constructed spaces and/or systems performed so as to determine sound transmission levels.
Vibration Monitoring
On-site monitoring of ground and structural vibrations encountered and/or transmitted so as to establish the extent of vibrations.
